Painted Yoga Bodies is a fine art photography project by S W Angelsmith Photography (IG @SWANGELSMITH), featuring beautifully painted nudes of yogis, dancers, circus performers, and athletes. It is an experiment in play, augmenting the simple elegance of yoga and refined movement of dance with bright colors and dramatic contrast. These images seek to play with the gracefulness of yoga by using the body as a canvas. The serenity, beauty, and grace of yoga contrasts beautifully with the chaos of paint splatter. The adorned body as canvas illustrates color, contrast, and texture better than any traditional canvas. The serenity and physical expression of yoga and dance brings this canvas to life.
